m+p SO Analyzer software and m+p VibPilot hardware for acoustic measurements of fruit
The Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology (IICPT) in Thanjavur uses the m+p SO Analyzer software and the m+p VibPilot frontend for non-destructive acoustic measurements of fresh fruit. The results are analyzed in real time to sort the fruit in good and bad quality. The Institute developed two methods for quality evaluation.
In both cases, the tapping noise is measured using a microphone and the signals are recorded by the m+p SO Analyzer. The results characterize the quality of the fruit. Read more.
As a major player in the structural dynamics and vibration community, m+p international will display its latest technology at the IMAC XXXII Exposition.
