1. NEW SERIES: m+p ANALYZER BASICS |
Learn the basic functionality of our NVH software product m+p Analyzer in this new series of articles. We will start with basic vibration data display and progress to data handling, filtering, and more complex features like post-processing and advanced visualization of data. Features will be illustrated by animated graphics. The first article will focus on the basics of 2D charts. |

2. m+p ANALYZER: BASICS OF 2D CHARTS |
m+p Analyzer offers four different types of charts for specific data analysis needs:

3. AUTOMATED HIGH-TEMPERATURE DURABILITY TESTS |
Engine and exhaust systems are exposed to extremely high temperature and vibration loads. m+p international provides a new integrated solution for combined durability testing, with a single point of control for the entire system. This single interface works with the hot gas generator, the vibration controller and the data acquisition system allowing any signal in the system to be permanently recorded and checked. Automation increases test accuracy, throughput and repeatability and offers unattended true 24/7 operation. |

4. TOOL FRF IDENTIFICATION UNDER OPERATIONAL CONDITIONS |
Engineers at the National NC System Engineering Research Center in Wuhan/China propose a new method for tool frequency response function (FRF) identification under spindle rotating state. This method only requires the traditional impact testing and two tools of different lengths. For data acquisition and modal analysis during experimental identification, they used the m+p Analyzer software and m+p VibRunner acquisition hardware. |
