1. ACOUSTIC EXCITATION OF TURBOMACHINERY BLISKS |
To assess the structural health of aircraft turbine blades, dynamic analyses are carried out in rotating and stationary operating conditions in the lab. Especially for stationary tests, it is crucial to artificially replicate the typical excitations acting on the rotor blades during operation, known as engine order excitation. A software package designed by m+p international enables engineers to generate an engine order excitation and analyze the dynamic responses of the turbomachinery blisks in the safety of the lab. The acoustic excitation uses loudspeakers, which is well suited for excitation frequencies above 1,000 Hz. Read more >> |

2. MODAL ANALYSIS BASICS |

Dr. Peter Avitabile is well known for his works in the field of structural dynamic modeling techniques. His series of „Modal Space“ articles discusses many aspects of modal analysis. It is exceptional for people who want to learn the basics of modal theory and also provides some useful details to the experienced engineers. Peter allowed us to publish his „Modal Space“ articles on our website. Happy reading! m+p Analyzer provides a full bundle of tools for comprehensive modal analysis and structural dynamics testing. |
3. m+p WEBSITE REDESIGN |
It was time for a change: Our website redesign went live. The new m+p website has a light and clean design and offers enhanced functionality organized around the information you need. Our goal was to create a highly usable site helping you easily and quickly access information. Have any feedback on the new website? Catch any bugs or typos? |
4. UPCOMING EVENTS |
