m+p international’s AcousticControl system for acoustic testing in a reverberation chamber and direct field environments provides fast, accurate and repeatable control of high-level noise to a reference octave band spectrum and the overall sound pressure level (OASPL). The control foresees a high level of product safety. Now AcousticControl offers support of the newly developed VibRunner acquisition hardware from m+p international. Designed to the specific needs of noise and vibration testing VibRunner is ideal for applications where numbers of channels and high data throughput are vital for accurate and efficient testing. The 19” mainframe houses up to 3 front-mounted modules and can be used standalone or rack mounted. Multiple VibRunner will be accurately synchronized by use of a daisy chain connection.
AcousticControl provides features such as unlimited number of microphones for control and/or measurement, continuous time domain octave analysis in 1/3 octave bands, a control bandwidth of up 10 kHz with multi-horn control, automatic microphone drop-out detection, extensive octave band and OASPL alarm and abort checks for safe testing as well as comprehensive analysis and reporting functions in 2D and 3D.
As AcousticControl is structured on the same user interface and hardware platform as m+p international’s VibControl shaker controllers, a control system can effectively be configured just by adding software modules.
