1. Mixed Mode Vibration with up to 20 Sine Tones
In accordance with our company ideals we have listened to our customers needs. When presented with a requirement from a large aero-engine manufacturer for sine-on-random vibration testing with 20 independent sine tones on a broadband random signal, we were not concerned and in a very short period of time it was done. So we now have the capability to produce up to 20 sine tones, each one either static or sweeping, overlapping or at different frequencies and at different levels, all this on our low-cost VibPilot front-end. 2. VibControl: HP-UX to Windows Data Translator Enables Advanced Reporting and Archiving
Good news for all users of HP-UX based VibControl vibration control systems: A special tool was developped that converts VibControl result files to Excel files where the data can be reviewed or possibly changed. For this file type, a file import filter was developped for m+p international's Smart Office vibration analyzer allowing to directly read the VibControl results into Smart Office and using the comprehensive, comfortable tools for reporting or archiving.

3. Advanced Vibration Testing of Sub-Satellite System
The Astrium test centre near Munich has been working with m+p international vibration control systems for many years. The article "Keeping a control on space work" describes the vibration qualification test of a solar panel which is part of the ROCSAT-2 earth oberservation satellite. The final qualification and quasi-static testing of the panel required 108 input channels of which 48 were dynamic strain, 18 force sensors and the others were accelerometers. m+p international's VibExec controller was tasked with running two critical one-off tests and collecting real-time data from all channels for post-test validation analysis. The article was published in the UK Environmental Engineering magazine in Autumn 2003.

4. Controlling Several Temperature Chambers from a Single PC
Do you have several temperature chambers of different types or even different manufacturers and do not want to acquire specific supervising and management systems? No problem, with TempControl, m+p international offers a powerful temperature chamber control system developed in direct feedback from industry laboratories. The Windows 2000/XP user interface allows control of one or several chambers, irrespective of brand. Advanced field bus modules enable easy integration of additional measurement and control signals, if required. Recently, m+p international installed a TempControl system at a worldwide manufacturer of distress safety systems. With TempControl, the four existing temperature chambers having different interfaces can now be controlled from a single PC. The stable, reliable software enables long-duration testing (over six months). For maximum flexibility, TempControl can be operated from any PC within the company's network. Remote maintenance via modem is also implemented. m+p international also supplied an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) which guarantees data recording for more than five hours. The TempControl user can switch between manual and automatic operation whenever needed. Programming procedures with loops and functional commands is fast and easily created. 5. m+p international Opens Office in France
To meet the growing demands on the worldwide market, m+p international S.A.R.L., Montesson/France was started to market the vibration and acoustic test systems as well as the products for data acquisition and signal analysis in Western Europe (France, Spain, Portugal, Benelux). In the past, m+p international cooperated with representatives in these sales regions.
