1. Coda for Multi-Channel Strain Gage Measurements on Aircrafts

With the Coda software, m+p international offers a scalable, completely integrated turnkey solution for continuous data acquisition, analysis and real-time monitoring for any test size, from tens of channels to thousands of channels.
Equipped with an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) and standardized data interfaces, Coda acquires, analyzes, visualizes and documents the test data exactly according to your requirements.

m+p international now delivers the Coda software for strain gage measurements on aircraft structures to an end customer in Asia. More than 2,000 channels have to be continuously acquired and analyzed. The intuitive GUI facilitates set-up, operation, analysis and report generation, thus improving test efficiencies. The powerful client/server architecture allows shared use of acquired data, enabling several clients to have concurrent online access for data display and analysis operations. Other Coda features include database-supported management, long-time data storage, and comprehensive alarm and abort limit checking, comfortable replay function, real-time mathematical functions, integrated transducer database as well as export into Excel, ASCII and popular analysis packages.

2. Pass-by-Noise Testing Using GPS

Unique to our SO Analyzer based vehicle Pass-by-Noise measurement system are the GPS components for both position and velocity information. This is what allows us to reduce our system down to two PC based measurement units without the need for radar, light beams, track position sensors and of course all the set-up time involved with all those components. Thanks to the GPS technology the positional accuracy and repeatability are within a few millimeters.

The vehicle noise, engine RPM and other measurements are performed by two portable analysers. One is based at a fixed point on the vehicle test track and the other inside the vehicle being tested. The driver can operate both systems automatically from his in-vehicle PC to control his measurement runs and do on-line analysis. Final reports are also created from the powerful
SO Analyzer report generator.

The SO Analyzer based pass-by-noise testing hardware and software is fully expandable to cover modal, rotating machinery, acoustic and other NV analysis measurements.

We have literature explaining more details, email us at sales.na@mpihome.com for your copy or click here.

3. Environmental Test Tailoring: Portable SO Analyzer Acquires Data from True Environment

The new compact SO Analyzer equipped with a four-channel USB powered dynamic acquisition module is perfectly suited for versatile portable noise and vibration measurements. With 25 kHz bandwidth, 24-bit resolution and a wide dynamic range the SO Analyzer offers very high precision on 4 channels and upwards and provides all the functionality you need for your daily test job at a surprisingly low price.

Measurements have never been so easy: Load the SO Analyzer software, connect the USB cable between the acquisition module and the host PC/laptop and start your measurement using IEPE (ICP) sensors powered directly from the USB front-end.

The vibration data measured in the field can be directly imported into m+p international’s VibControl systems for environmental test tailoring. Tailor-made environmental tests guarantee that the components are sufficiently tested, but not overtested. Economical considerations play an important role in environmental simulation. With the SO Analyzer, m+p international offers a cost-effective dynamic signal analyzer, allowing you to measure the real environmental situations precisely, yet easily and to import the measured data into VibControl for qualification purposes.
