In this Issue:1. SO Analyzer Supports National Instruments Acquisition HardwareSO Analyzer is m+p international’s dynamic data acquisition, analysis and reporting system with integrated analysis across a wide range of N+V applications from structural testing to sound quality.
SO Analyzer supports NI hardware In addition to m+p’s own VibPilot and VibRunner hardware platforms, SO Analyzer software integrates seamlessly with a wide spectrum of National Instruments Compact DAQ USB, PCI and PXI modules for applications in the lab and in the field. You can easily acquire signals from accelerometers, microphones, thermocouples, resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), strain gauges, load cells, and many more. Find more information on the supported NI hardware on our website.
2. AcousticControl with New Acquisition Hardware
Standalone or rack mounted VibRunner hardware m+p international’s AcousticControl system for closed-loop acoustic testing in a reverberation chamber now also supports the VibRunner acquisition hardware. Designed to the specific needs of noise and vibration testing VibRunner is ideal for applications where numbers of channels and high data throughput are vital for accurate and efficient testing. Find more information on our AcousticControl webpage.
3. Aerospace: Advanced Response Limiting Technique for Lightly Damped StructuresResponse limiting capabilities of vibration controllers can be insufficient to compensate for lightly-damped structures with high Q values and narrow resonance skirts during high sweep rate sine sweep tests. An automated method was developed and validated cooperatively by m+p international and engineers at Harris Corporation in Melbourne, Florida, to predict and compensate for response limit overshoots.
4. New Representative for Central US Region: Sage TechnologiesIt is with great pleasure we announce the co-operation with Sage Technologies for the central US region. Sage Technologies is a manufacturer's representative company specializing in sound and vibration testing.
