1. TempControl (Temperature Chamber Control System) New software and processing equipment to provide a single PC for the control of multiple environmental cabinets. For those labs who use many different types of chamber for temperature, humidity or other environmental tests we will be bringing out a software suite to control chambers from almost any manufacturer in addition to control of ancillary test equipment. Sounds interesting??? Let us know. More information |
2. Time Domain Replication/RoadLoad Simulation A technique that has eluded many for years, an effective method of controlling the replication of recorded track or time data in a continuous closed control loop. All this and an unlimited time of testing! The new unlimited time replication software has two very important steps.
Firstly, the ultra-flexible editor which allows the import of almost any raw data signal, including RPC3 and ASCII, that can then be viewed in Acceleration, Velocity, Displacement or Spectra graphs. Single point editing or signal clipping, band pass filtering, signal length selection, … are all valuable tools included in the editor. The most important fact of course is the ability to deal with very large sample files and any sample frequency. |
3. AcousticControl (Acoustic Chamber Control System) Fascinating stuff this, using high-level noise to test the effect of acoustically induced vibration in aerospace structures. We now have a fully digital controller using proper octave band control filters, digital sliders with position storage for repeat tests, reference control up to kHz with natural roll off to 10KHz with multi-horn control. We also include automatic drop-out of microphones going bad so no danger of bad data, if they recover we take them back in....... clever stuff. If you are in this business and want to get more out of your chamber, please let us know. |
4. SmartOffice Revision 2.1 m+p international has the pleasure to announce that SmartOffice Revision 2.1 was released. SmartOffice is our open solution for noise & vibration measurement, analysis and reporting.
The SmartOffice e-Reporter (the data management and reporting part of the SmartOffice) includes many new file import capabilities. The latest m+p international VibControl, Agilent SDF 5.0, Teac HDR, TDF, OROS and Standard WAV, MTS and SDRC UFF binary were added. Many other functions were implemented in Viewers, Calculator and User Programming.
Besides we integrated more than 10 new modules into the SmartOffice Measure and Post-Test solutions, in the area of General, Structural, Rotating Machinery, Acoustics and Vibration Control applications.

The employees m+p international inc. extends a special thank you to all its customers for the opportunity and trust they bestowed on them and is looking forward to working with them in the future. |
6. VXI - Where Is this Highly Successful Standard Heading? As you know our vibration and data acquisition high-end systems currently rely on the excellent performance of the Agilent VXI front-ends. This instrumentation standard has been around for while now and other emerging technologies such as NI's PXI may appear to be taking over. The following document by the VXI consortium puts the current situation into perspective and suggests there's plenty of life in the old dog yet! See http://www.tm.agilent.com/data/downloads/eng/tmo/EPSG090262.pdf |
7. Agilent Choose m+p international to Upgrade their HP3565 This statement was taken from the latest Agilent DAQ newsletter, even more life in the old dog! ****' Agilent Lake Stevens Site Upgrades Vibration Control System '**** Agilent manufacturing upgraded their old 3565A LMS based Vibration Control System to a VXI based system from m+p. The new windows based VibRunner System makes it easy to support the full suite of Agilent's commercial test specs. The ability to run other internally developed matlab & VB analysis software on the same VXI hardware made the upgrade a double bonus for Agilent design Engineers.
