Signal Analysis: SmartOffice 2.4 with Many Interesting Enhancements

SmartOffice is m+p international's solution for noise and vibration measurement, analysis and reporting. It is scalable and offers modules for FFT, modal, rotate and octave analyses. For user flexibility, the decision regarding acquisition hardware was kept open to allow interfaces with National Instruments, VXI Technology, Bustec and Teac.
Within one application, SmartOffice allows you to import data from more than 20 different standard N&V formats, do real-time data acquisition, analyse results and create reports – in the field, in the lab and in the office.
Latest SmartOffice Signal Analysis Revision 2.4 provides very useful, new features, for example:
Time domain data can be replayed, thus allowing the user to see a time replay of measured data on a structure.
The Calculator now supports block mode operations on time data which results in a quick post-processing functionality for many common FFT-based functions like PSD and FRF calculations.
The transducer calibration values can be directly stored to and loaded from an Excel spreadsheet database. Each transducer has an unique serial number that serves as a key in the table.
SmartOffice supports National Instruments 67xx boards allowing to generate signals synchronously with the input measurement. Supported output signals: Sine, Random, Triangle, Square and DC.
The new 2D Viewer offers calculations, extra cursor values (RMS, Q, Diff), SeektoMax function and more.
The rotating machinery acquisitions read RPM data either from the analog input channel or from the hardware tacho. SmartOffice supports National Instruments 66xx and 67xx and Bustec hardware for this application. |
